Flexible sheet veneers have been designed for use on interior surfaces where the look and warmth of real wood are desired.  The flexibility of the product allows the customer to apply the veneer to contoured surfaces.  Specifiers such as interior designers, architects and contractors use the product for an unlimited number of applications.  Some of these uses are: residential and contract furniture, kitchen cabinets, store fixtures, commercial millwork and similar uses.

From Alder to Koa to Zebrawood, Multiflex Veneers can offer an astounding array of fine domestic and exotic wood species.

We currently inventory more than 28 species on our floor and we are able to source all inquiries within a timely fashion.

Veneer Cuts/Sizes
 
Several veneer cuts are available: Plain Sliced, Rotary, Rift and Quarter.
Panel sizes: 3'x7', 3'x8', 4'x8', 4'x10', 4'x12', 5'x8' and 5'x10, as well as some cut to size components.
 
Veneer Matching

The following flitch matches are available, Book match, Slip match, Running match, Center match and End match. As well, panel sequencing is available upon request.

Backers

10 mil and 20 mil Paper & Peel & Stick, the product is made by applying a layer of kraft paper to the back of the veneer and is the most flexible. As well, we can produce the product with a Peel & Stick layer applied to the kraft paper back.

Polyback, Non-Formaldehyde resin, Polyback are saturated papers that are applied as the backer. Cost effective and durable.  New!  Polyback is now available in 2 colours, Ivory and Brown to provide a closer match to the face species of veneer.

Two Ply Veneer, this product is made by applying a layer of okoume veneer on the back of the veneer face. We can do this in two different ways: with a long grain or a cross-grain veneer backer.

Phenolic, this product is made with multiple layers of saturated papers, similar to the backer on HPL. This is the most durable of the backers.
